Back In Tennessee | melody08's Blog

So here I sit, in my small, but cute room in Tennessee. Last time I decorated this room I was about 14. The walls are covered in posters of Hilary Duff, Chad Michael Murray, JoJo, Eminem, Green Day, and some other random stuff. My bed sheets are Lizzie McGuire and so are my curtains. It's like walking into a time warp, lol.

But I do have my laptop, which doesn't seem to be as bad as it was before. Not nearly as many pop ups. :) So you could be seeing me online a bit more often. Especially since I'm in the middle of nowhere in a one horse town. But hey, I'm away from home and that's all that matters. I'll be looking into stuff to do up here. Maybe sign up for a program or get a summer job or something. And I have no return ticket so I can be up here as loooong as I like. I'll just need some hair dye...

Which reminds me, the day before I left, I wanted to fix my hair. My roots were growing in and most of the colours had faded out of my hair. So I bleached it. That just made my roots white, and the rest kinda brassy. Not to mention it didn't even take the colours out of my hair. So I decided to dye it blonde. I picked out an extremely light colour, because my hair never turns out as light as the box. But just this one time, it did. I was blonde as could be. Would've looked natural if my eyebrows weren't black, so I lightened them a bit. Then after a few hours of that I decided to pick some colours back into my hair. I've got different shades of blue, purple, and pink, and this time they REALLY showed up since my hair is so light. It looks so great! :D

Random thing of the day: Some lady at the grocery store started talking to me, saying how horrible it was to buy food up here. So we're like, "Where are you from?" And she says she's from Florida. So I'm like, "Me too!" And she was like, "You look like that girl on my flight yesterday." Ha ha. How weird to run into someone on my flight at the grocery store.
