I feel like it's been a while since I wrote. Though I suppose I've been busy enough.

This past week (Friday-Thrusday) my schedule wasn't that great. I normally work everyday but Mondays, about 6 hours a day, and usually a double on Saturday. I had Monday and Tuesday off (I did request Tuesday but my plans changed so I needed my shift back) and no double on Saturday. I mean, my hours weren't cut horribly, but enough that I wasn't secure.

The only part that bummed me out was the pay period ended on Saturday, and I coudn't get anyone elses shift til Sunday. But that just means my next paycheck after this one should be bangin'.

Sunday I was originally scheduled 5:30 - closing door (meaning I sit and wait for an hour for the last theatre to get out around 12:30), but Saturday night someone called in sick, so I got her 12-6 shift. So I almost pulled 13 hours that day.
Then I pretty much got my usual shift back for Tuesday, - 1 hour, 1-6. Then someone else called in sick and I got their 5:30-10:30 shift that night.
Today someone had to go home an hour early so I got to come in an hour early to take over for them.

And this weeks schedule just came out tonight, and I work every single day. My hours aren't long, and no double, but I'm gonna see if I can't grab someone elses shift on Tuesday or something. Even if I don't it'll be alright.

My paycheck today wasn't too shabby to be honest. It was exactly what I calculated. But with all the extra shifts I was grabbing my paycheck on the 22nd should be a bit better. Every little bit helps.

And as I try and save money, I realised I spend a lot on food on my break. I don't wanna spend that much money, but I also wanna eat. Lucky for me I found a break buddy who (when we work together) will take me on break with him to his house and we can eat there for free.

Is it just me or do things just kinda seem to fall into place? :)

I bought my ticket back to Florida for the 5th, and once prices go down I'll by my ticket back here. Matter of fact, I should go ahead and check on those... Nope, not down yet. Probably on the 15th. No worries.

And with the money I'm saving I should be able to make it back to England. I might not have a ton of spending money, but I didn't spend that much last time. Just a few hundred should hold me. Though I should probably buy my ticket sometime this month, next pay day perhaps.

With working every day, it keeps me busy and makes time go by fast. Only 27 days til I'm home and I see my mom, and 29 days til I ge to see Andy again. It'll be great. :)

Maybe if it's not too cold tomorrow and the sun's out I'll lay out. I should have done it today but I woke up too late. Though my new dark hair makes me look a bit more tan anyway.

I'm just... happy. I hope this feeling sticks around.
